On March 25th, URBEM was present at the working group promoted by @camara_municipal_lisboa on “Lisbon’s Path to Climate Neutrality by 2030”!
Lisbon was one of the 100 Mission Cities selected by the European Commission to become ‘Climate Neutral and Smart’ by 2030 – and we were very proud to be part of this process, represented by Rita Almeida.
Our contribution focused on *green areas and proximity gardens, urban trees, agroecology and urban gardens*, together with representatives from CML, Estufa Fria, Associação dos Amigos do Jardim Botânico da Ajuda and Quercus.
It was a participatory session full of synergies and good ideas for making Lisbon a greener, more resilient and fairer city.
