With 250m2 and 560 plants from 35 species, the forest at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), created in partnership with Núcleo de Sustentabilidade do IST, reflects the institution’s commitment to sustainability and its future, fostering a connection between its community and nature and promoting a more sustainable campus.
Planted in late 2025, it is expected that the forest will become independent from watering between 2028 and 2029.
